Get married on a working farm above Wilderness
Wildfarm Homestead is a working off-grid farm 25 minutes from George, high above Wilderness on the Garden Route — and a wedding venue for up to 120 guests. Ceremony on the deck or under the trees, reception on the deck with the Outeniqua Mountains going orange behind you, and the whole guest list in one place.
Venue hire is R5,000 all-in — the farm, the deck, the bar, the marquee tent, sound system and DJ. The farm runs on sun, so the music, the lights and the fridges stay on when the grid goes down. And there are rooms on site, which means nobody has to drive back to George at midnight.
One place for the whole day
Most couples do the ceremony and the reception here, back to back. You get married on the deck or under the trees, the guests move to the deck for drinks while the light changes, and dinner comes out of the farm kitchen — wood-fired pizzas from the pizza bar, a farm braai buffet, or a three course plated meal.
Music can play until 2am. There’s a cash bar on the farm, and the deck, the braai and the pizza oven are all yours for the evening.

- No load-shedding — grid-tied solar with a lithium battery bank, so there’s no generator noise over your vows
- Accommodation on site — dorm beds, private doubles and a self-catering cottage, so your guests sleep over
- Cash bar on the farm — drinks are one less thing to organise
- Food, your way — wood-fired pizzas at R120 to R150 a head, a farm braai buffet or a three course plated meal at R320 a head, or bring your own caterer at no charge
